Nuclear Energy Information Service is a non-profit, non- partisan organization whose purpose is to educate the public on issues concerning the nuclear power and safe alternative energy resources. They are the watch dog of nuclear power plants, trying to make sure that the public is informed of all happenings. They spred information,organize educational programs and conduct research.

In response to the Nuclear accident at Chernobyle, the Nuclear Energy Information Services raises money to bring children from Bellroise to America each year. Here they can get proper medical attention and have the oppurtunity for art classes. This is just an example of the programs that they work to put together.
